We had a wonderful time this past weekend...hope you did too! Our neighborhood has a delightful parade every year and then a fun block party. Here is Oscar and his friend Jack on the "happy train".
And Angelica watching the parade on our blanket.
But for my kids the real fun came the next day when I decided, in all my mommy wisedom, to give the kids their nightly bath outside. It was a gorgeous afternoon/early evening. I turned on the hose, got everyone lathered up and promptly lost all control. The water ran into the dirt under the trampoline (where they are normally forbidden...notice all the netting). It created a glorious mud puddle. And the rest you can view for yourselves.

the mud bath is fantastic!! What a way to enjoy every moment!
Oh my goodness I love it! People pay big bucks for mud baths, you know! What a fun time--who cares about a little dirt when you're making memories with the kiddos--take care, my friend!
best way to spend your days.....too funny and adorable...fists up you are doing great!!!
How awesome. Looks like they had so much fun. I am so happy you had a great weekend. What could be better than making fun memories. It makes me want to get the hose out and have family mud wrestling contests.
Love to you all. Whats in store for this weekend?

mi.....you can make fun out of anything !!! i swear, you should start motivational, recreational, transformational camps for big kids.
first day, fun mud baths; second day, trampoline therapy; third day, how to make a parade with only five people; fourth day, fun scandals for everyone; fifth day, great one-liners for maximum hilarity; day six, how to create the perfect surprise; and day seven devoted to the art of covering the dallas state fairgrounds from one inch to the other !!!
loads of love,
michele
